Got back from the special theater screening of Planet of the Apes (1968). Was cool to see it on the big screen for once.

I had never noticed that the original screenplay was done by Rod Serling. When the host pointed it out, he was right... it does play out with the same structure and twist ending of a TZ episode.

I liked it. Not great, but pretty good.

Some of the complaints are valid, but I think the negative criticisms out there blow them out of proportion.

Among all the DCU films we have so far, I would rewatch Suicide Squad before the others.
