They didn't really have a spotlight to demonstrate whether they did or didn't suck. They were basically glorified cameos since their introduction.

They were an interesting idea and fresh concept that could have brought the Daleks new life, but they were ugly as heck and not scary looking at all. I am very glad they have stuck with the gold RTD design.

I think, it the ideas behind the design had fully been shown, they would have been impressive......it they had not been in Power Ranger colors!
The multiple weapons they were to have would have been great to see in action.
