It was from Dax, from Deep Space Nine, that had resculpted hair, and then repainted.

Cool, I think that head would make a perfect Romana 1

(It doesn't look like it I know, but her whole face was reapinted, and beacuse I dodn't want to have to repaint her arms as well, I had to mix a few colours to try and match the colour on her face as closely as possible!)

Can I ask, what paints/colors do you usually use for fleshtones?

I have had good luck using liquitex acrylics (for canvas painting) to customize some of my figures. They dry plastic, so a thin layer works quite well on the long 'edwardian' coats. They also have a similar finish to the figure's own colors.  

That said, I've always had trouble with with getting a good mix for 'flesh'. Usually it's too pink or too yellow/orange.

I use Daler Rowney acrylics (the type in tubes like toothpaste), as you can mix them with water to whatever thickness and consistency you like, and they go on very well.

There isn't one definitive flesh colour that I use, I just start off with plain flesh, and then mix in bits of red, brown, ochre, white, to get the shade that I want for the figure, and then you can lighten/darken it for shading and highlights.

Tom, I have to ask... Have you ever done a Tegan in her air hostess outfit? That's one of the things next on my list, and I have no idea how to approach it.
