How do you top the Autons? Silurians, of course.

Another great, new "monster." Although obviously a dude in a rubber suit, it looks so effective that it doesn't "take you out of it."

A cracking good story with Peter Miles giving a performance that rivals all his others in Doctor Who - and that says a LOT. Fulton MacKay and Geoffrey Palmer are top-notch as well, as you would expect.

The second in a quartet of excellent stories to start the Third Doctor's era.

Another great story! It was my favourite for a while. I really enjoyed the Silurians and how they reflect humanity's disagreements and differences; they are very much alike to us in that they argue amongst themselves, some are compassionate and negotiating whereas others are angry and closed-minded, etc. I really like the idea of the two races trying to work out whether they can live together or not a really cool concept and story.
