A rather long story where the Cybermen don't even show up until the very end of part three. I think it could have been shorter.

On the upside, I like the redesign of the Cybermen. I also found the guest cast to be superb - particularly Kevin Stoney as Vaughn and Peter Halliday as Packer. Stoney's Vaughn is even more effective as a heavy than his portrayal of Mavic Chen.

Welcome back to now Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart and say hello to UNIT, both of which will become mainstays of Who for several years to come...

It needs more Cybermen, but the introduction of the Brigadier and UNIT set up Pertwee's era to come. Vaughn is a fantastic bad guy. Until you realize he is part cybernetic, his motivations don't make much sense. And the Cybermen do look great. Glad to see it as the first restored story with animation.
