Oblivion Empty
PostSubject: Oblivion   Oblivion EmptyWed Apr 24, 2013 1:11 am

Just saw the movie today with my friend and I absolutely loved it!

I had already been spoilt on a major plot point, but when it came, it didn't affect it nearly as much as I thought it would, nor did it even hurt like I thought it would. How it was played out was top and I think Tom Cruise is a fantastic actor. What I really enjoyed were the fantastic special effects, the sounds, and most especially, those beautiful shots of Iceland.

I didn't know if a movie like that could get to me, but it did.

I saw it this past Sunday; ended up watching the IMAX version. I enjoyed it - visually stunning! Cruise was pretty good as was the rest of the cast.

Now, how about that score, eh?

I absolutely LOVED it! So much that I downloaded it off of iTunes when I got home and have been listening to it pretty much all day long. First time listening to it I broke down and cried during the last two tracks.

The scenery was stunning too! Couldn't convince me that it was futuristic New York though considering that I am way too familiar with Iceland...

Loved it! Really visually spectacular. I was a fan of Tron Legacy, and you could tell it was by the same director. I didn't know any twists going in, though I did figure it out a bit before the reveal. But that didn't diminish my enjoyment at all. So happy I saw it on the big screen.

I have the soundtrack ordered on vinyl. I'll need to get a digital version too. It was really great, just like Tron Legacy.
