A lot more Doctor who fans than I remember

I've been watching/reading/breathing the Doctor since Tom Baker. The first thing I ever collected was a copy of his scarf that I had my aunt knit for me when I was 11. And Leela...childhood fantasies anyone?
Anyway, I never imagined how many new Who fans were out there since the new series started up. It's become really popular and although it brings on more people to talk to about the show, I'm not sure how I feel about my favorite time lord becoming pop culture. Either way, I'm glad I signed up because I love talking about all things Who.

I find that Doctor Who's fanbase is expanding. I used to go places to find bowties, sonic screwdrivers and everything imaginable. For a while my favorite book store didn't have or carry any Doctor Who items not along not know what Doctor Who was. Now I can go in there, find the sci-fy section and find all my Doctor Who stuff. (not technically everything, but you know what I mean.) The Doctor Who fan base on here should spread the word to the other Whovians to join! I know there are tip-top Doctor Who Fan pages on Facebook that I talk with, I'm sure they would love to join in on the conversation. If any of the moderators would like top spread the word, pm me and we can talk. Smile
