Good news...Logan's Run: The Complete Series is coming to DVD on April 10, 2012...

For fans of the classic Logan's Run franchise, Logan's Run: The Complete Series comes to DVD! It's 2314 and no one is allowed to live past age of 30, but a few have escaped the new world order to try to reach Sanctuary where they can live peacefully to old age. Gregory Harrison stars as Logan, a Sandman who rebels and joins other Runners as they try to avoid being captured and deal with an unknown world outside the City of Domes.

All 14 episodes of the series in a 3-disc collector's set.

Fans of 70's sci fi will DEFINITELY not want to miss this series. DC Fontana helmed the initial launch, although network interference caused the series never to fully live up to its potential.

Be nice if they released the soundtrack for cheap also.

I never saw the TV series! That'd be cool to check out.

It was pretty neat. I saw it on TNT in the 90's when they showed it, even taped it but then erased them all for some stupid reason REM was a pretty interesting character.

There is a soundtrack out...it's $20; not sure if that qualifies for 'cheap' though.

It is pretty bare-bones, but I have been enjoying the series.

DC Fontana did her best to gather up some of the writers from Star Trek to create this series, but it seldom broke out of cliched storylines. However, there are some exceptions.

The episode "Man Out of Time" is particularly excellent.
