Doctor Who names in real life?

Do you know or have you ever known anyone who shares his/her name with a Doctor Who character? If you have an uncle named Harry Sullivan; a neighbor named Martha Jones; etc. In college I knew a guy named Pete Tyler, and as a "close but no cigar" I once had a student named David Ross, who went by "Dave" (so his name was "Dave Ross" -- never asked him if he was the creator of the Daleks; lol).

And please don't tell me you have a friend named Alastair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart!

I work with a Tom Baker & his father is called Colin!

Hey, that is awesome! And that reminds me -- I knew a "Thomas Baker," but he went by "Thomas" and never "Tom," so I guess he counts as another "near miss."

I always thought that the name 'Romana' was actually ver nice and so if I ever have a daughter I may just consider that name (if that counts).

Well, as long as you do not actually name her Romanadvoratrelundar and just call her Romana for short
