The Last Time there was a big science fiction Head Game was
the Monolith in 2001 and what happened to Hal. They made us wait from 1968 till 1984 until the sequel and it still didnt explain the dang monolith. Now if i turn on Dr Who
next week and see a monolith I QUIT!!!!!!! lol

River Song dies in "Forest of the Dead."

I have a big feeling that it was River in the spaceship, who killed the Doctor.

the Doctor has asked River Song... "why are you in jail? Who did you kill? Perhaps she killed the Doctor in the astronaut suit when she was a child 200 years later. Remember, River keeps meeting the Doctor in the wrong order.

If only if it were that easy lol this is Steven Moffit. they also make it a point that Time can be rewritten even in back to the future its a theme.

River was equally shocked that by the murder. If she had killed the Doctor then, she would've remembered it. Even if she was mind controlled, she would've realized it when she was sentenced.
I think this line is a red herring. Viewers are now looking for clues that will be relevant later. This is info we already know that folks will obsess over and miss the other hints.
