Comics writer Dwayne McDuffie dies

While searching the web for more about Nicholas Courtney's passing, I was startled to learn of the death of Dwayne McDuffie...creator of "Static" and writer for many of Marvel and DC's titles, McDuffie also wrote for animation projects, like the "Static Shock" series and the "All Star Superman" movie released on DVD this week.

Wow. McDuffie I'm familiar with from his animated shows like Ben 10 Alien Force / Ultimate Alien which I watch regularly (most of the time these shows are better than network tv). Very surprising since he was only 49.
