Who agrees that the tenth planet is the most important missing episode?

The first regeneration? Or renewal as they called it then. Yes it is, along with the first episode of Power of the Daleks. The first change in Doctors is lost forever.

Well, some fan recorded the regeneration scene off his TV. Yeah, these days, he'd get busted for being a pirate.

At least there's still audio...

Dang, I would love to see those in full...

As cool as it would be to have the entire Tenth Planet, I'd rather see Power of the Daleks. I'd prefer to see Troughton's first steps as the Doctor than Hartnell's last.

I think there are surviving clips of the regeneration that were used on a show like Blue Peter or something. Which for some reason, was never wiped! My recon uses those screen photos that the BBC had made, those clips, and the audio. Still would love to see more of these animated.

At least most of The Tenth Planet survives and the reconstruction of episode 4 on the VHS is serviceable. I think the loss of Power of the Daleks is greater.
