Doctor Who USA Tour 1985 North America

Nice find I got to see that at the studios of WQED/WQEX in Pittsburgh.

At that time, circa 1985-1986, there were 3 TV stations airing Doctor Who every week: NJN in NJ, WNYC in Manhattan, NY and WLIW in Long Island, NY. I lived right in the middle of it all and they announced it was coming and we made sure to be there. It was somewhat o a letdown being it was a trailer but the props and costumes were great. Life size K9 & Bessie. All that was missing was an actor or 2 to help promote it.

McCoy appeared at our stop in Illinois. He looked so tiny sitting at his table, and his episodes had yet to appear.

I don't even remember that! Did they come to the west coast at all, the San Francisco area specifically? Kermit's right: it ain't easy bein' green (with envy).
