| I totally think this was the best dalek episode, it had everything, Davros/Emperor dalek, The Supreme dalek, grunt daleks, imperial daleks, the special weapons dalek, Dalek slaves, A mind control machine/battle computer, AND, you get to see the daleks fly upstairs. |

| That's a tough one. Definitely in my favorites. Genesis is good too. But, Remembrance does have a lot of action, and Totter's Lane. |

| I love Remembrance. I think it's my favourite Classic Dalek Story.
Although, Genesis is pretty amazing but it's too long, I think. |

| I prefer "The Dead Planet" as my favorite Dalek story. Same with the Cushing film. |

| I think Remembrance is a better story in some ways, I love it. But Genesis has such iconic moments and is such a defining serial that, it makes choosing one anything over it hard. |

| The one big drawback to Rememberance, the almighty Black Dalek gets lonely at the end and spins around until he explodes. Not very Dalek-y was that? Not that I hate Rememberance, but it could have tied this bit up a little better. Oh, and exterminated the little girl instead of just letting her cry. That'll teach the little monsters not to mess with Daleks.
The Dead Planet has so much more Dalek evil without them acting out of character. |

| The Doctor was supposed to destroy the Black Dalek with a weapon, but McCoy felt it was not a 'Doctorish' thing to do, just as he was supposed to have the ATR and not Ace when they blew up the dalek in the school, so they changed it. |

I liked how it was Ace that did it, actually. It kind of fits with her character, and adds to it, plus everyon was surprised by it as well, which was an interesting moment. |

| It was ok, but no way was it the best Dalek episode. It was better than Destiny, and parts of The Chase, and every stinking second of Victory of the Daleks.
I know it's popular among fans, but McCoy's "unlimited rice pudding" speech I find dreadful. And blowing up Skaro was pointless, especially when the next time we see the Daleks, they're on Skaro! |

Wibbly wobbly, timey wimey... That moment with the upgraded bat is a central piece of why Ace is one of my favorites. That, and Sophie just looked great in that tiger-print leotard... but, uh, that wasn't from Doctor Who. |

Yep, ranks up there with #10 apologizing every time something/one gets killed, or "Cupcake" from that dreadful 2009 Star Trek film. |

Well, that was because he didn't actually destroy skaro, see, he only horribly burnt the out side of the planet, so any daleks that were inside skaro survived. |

I liked the pre-Genesis stories myself more. They had personalities and cooler voices. Ahhh, would you believe I've never seen ANY pre-genesis daleks in action? You missed a lot, then. They actually got more done in those ones, and had personality and different voices. In the Dead Planet, you can see the sucker arms moving about (why don't we see that anymore?), and when redy to kill the Thal Chief, you could see the Dalek gun arms moving all twitchy and fiddly....as if they are getting anxious, and possibly impatient, to kill. Same with the eyes, one can see the iris dilating when they were getting devious. Little bits like that made the earlier Daleks more life like. |

| yes, they had more personality and life back then. In Dead Planet, even though they could not leave the city, they were a bigger menace. They do some of the twitching in the modern show. I think it helps get the point across that they are alive, and not robots. |

I also want to see "Dalek Invasion of Earth" and "The Chase" definitely, if only they weren't so expensive to buy . . . |

| My favourite McCoy episode, tho' Fenric comes in close 2d. Completely gave me a new view of Daleks, no longer confined to flat surfaces, brought back the whole "racial purity" thing from Genesis, &c. Plus Ace whacking that Dalek with the Louisville just reminded me so much of my favourite holiday, Whacking Day. |

I wish I could agree. I've seen every episode that's still on film, and read quite a few of the old Target novelizations, but never read Masterplan and never saw any of the footage that's left (or heard the audio, if it exists--if it does, ca-ching, there goes a few more coppers from under the ol' visco mattress. I'm assuming you're familiar with the story, Hoosier? Its that good? |
