Watching 'The Gunfighters'

And now I sorta want a gunslinger Hartnell figure.

I dont, I absolutely LOATHE that story!

It's amusing so far. I'm on 'Johnny Ringo.' I liked Steven getting all duded up in the Tom Mix outfit. Reminded me of Marty in Back To The Future III (wonder if Zemeckis is a Who fan).

I saw that one. Woefully historically inaccurate, and a lot of the cowboys are obviously British people trying hard to sound like they're from the Old West.

Is that the story where Hartnell's handed a pistol and proceeds to absent-mindedly point it first at the male and then at the female, while they push the pistol away from themselves?

I'm amused by that sequence.

The ballad's pretty silly and the accents slip in and out, but honestly I enjoyed it more than The Web Planet.

I'd pick up a Hartnell cowboy figure for sure. I liked The Gunfighters... but boy does the ballad start to wear on you after a while.

It's very sixties - I guess they were emulating Gunfight At The OK Corral, which similarly had a ballad playing throughout.

I found The Gunfighters tedious the first (and only) time I saw it. I'll be fine if I never see it again.

Kinda silly, but also kinda fun for me. Not to be taken too seriously. They aren't...
