Is there ANYTHING in Michigan?!

Hidily ho.

Like the title says, is there anything? Michigan is the toilet of the Midwest, which is, in turn, the rear end of the States. We hardly get anything here....last convention I remember was a Star Trek convention....from 1993!

And any Michigan folks here? I ask since it might make finding Who figures easier, and not having to deal with paying crazy shipping to get 'em from UK or eBay with Comic Book Guy Wannabes trying to cut one's throat with insane prices.

Heh, I live in west Virginia, where you have generally nice people, lovely scenery, and not much to do unless you're outdoorsy.

Now, Michigan DOES have the Motor City Comic-Con, and there are a few other conventions in the midwest each year (In Chicago, Indianapolis, etc) that may be of interest to you.

Eric Roberts (no relation) was at Motor City Comic-Con this year. He's not really a "very bad man" at all. He takes your money as agreeably as anyone else.

Since others are starting to run down what would appear to be their home states, I feel I should make it clear that I do not live in Ohio, but have been there.
