Faction Paradox

Recently I've developed an interest in the Faction stories and want to jump in. What's absolutely vital and the best?
The same way people ask, "What Doctor Who stories would you use to introduce a newcomer?"
I mean the stuff outside of Doctor Who. Like Book of the War or some of the audios.

Huh... you're not someone who knew me in high-school, are you? I used to write that on stuff. That and, "Do not read this."

They always have that at the end of exams. Still puzzles me why it's there
