...just what NOBODY asked for...another Dalek special...

Why don't the Daleks have plungers anymore?  Whatever those tiny little things are at the ends of the manipulator arms they don't look any more intimidating.  

If you've had the plungers for almost 60 years, you might as well own them.


At least I haven't seen any of the "recon scouts" yet.

I'm not a fan of the doll-licks.

I remember when Star Trek: TNG did it better. It was called Cause and Effect.

They should have called this one, "See ya later, Exterminator!"

It was certainly not the best "trapped in the time loop" story ever conceived.  But for a Chibnil story that was rather good.  No one was trying to explain where Andred went after he married Leela or the origin of the Toy Maker.  Just a simple run-around and the Daleks were not naff.  The Daleks were not immortal beings teleporting across the planet nor were they totally dense and silly.  The Daleks were ruthless and intelligent shooting down the regulars on a regular basis.

Plus the Sea Devil head appearing for the next episode!  It wasn't totally "re-imagined".  It was a real 1970's Sea Devil.  Let's hope they don't bugger this up the way they did the Sontarans in the Crimean War.

Just watched the special. I'm not spoiling things for anyone.
But for people who have seen, they can read between the lines
when I say : That's why I thought Donna was always the best companion.
