Just read the news that my favorite James Bond actor has passed away: https://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/Culture/sean-connery-iconic-james-bond-actor-dies-90/story?id=44815289

As a kid, I owned a plastic replica of the Aston Martin DB5, and an attache case with a folding missile launcher that also shot projectiles through a hole in the bottom of the case: https://www.007collector.com/bark-james-bond-attache-case-usa/

Boy, he sure became politically incorrect in the 21 Century but Sean Connery's Bond is still the gold standard for all future Bonds. He was consistently entertaining in everything I ever saw him in.

Some of my fave performances were not even Bond films (as much as I LOVE his Bond)...such as...

Outland
The Hunt for Red October
Highlander
The Untouchables
The Great Train Robbery
The Man Who Would Be King
Robin and Marian
The Name of the Rose

...and on and on...

Its been a sad year.
