| I will tell you what the "Base" figure is at the end of the thread. So first I masked off the areas that will not be painted, although I may Chrome the Plunger arm, weapon and eyestalk. Then I applied the primer... Once the primer was dry I needed to go outside and start the spray painting, here he is after the first coat, note a few areas escaped the paint. I managed to catch those places with the second coat. need to paint the neck section Silver and I need to get a pot of Black Satin for the Hemi's

| Managed to complete the Waistband, and I've decided to give this a go in the 3.75 Scale. Here I have "painted" the neck section with Humbrol Maskol....its like a liquid latex that you can paint over and remove afterwards. |

| Forgot to mention it. The Base figure is an empty "Bubble Bath" container. |

The Base figure is an empty "Bubble Bath" container. I was going to make that my guess, as I remember how they looked so accurate for a piece of one use ephemera. |

| And then there were 3. the one on the far right is a Money Box but has no eyestalk so that is something for me to think about. Obviously the Black one will not need a lot doing to it and the Bronze will be the Silver Blue version. I will make Claws for Red & Black. Started on Silver this afternoon. will hand paint his dome and Neck rings. |

| Started in earnest today, the Black one just needed its midriff spraying, I used a light grey primer which will be left alone as that is the colour of that section, the dome was going to be left alone but I shall have to paint the neck ring as some of the primer bled through the masking tape, the Dome will be varnished to give it that shiny look. The bronze has been primed and the skirt section has been sprayed Silver and the base has been sprayed Black, midriff on the silver is the same as the Black. Dome and Neck rings will be hand painted Silver. |

| Due to Arthritis and failing eyesight I have had to move up in scale to 12". I have started with the CO 12" Cybermen so I bought these 4. I then had to decide who was going to be what. The Cyber Leader was a simple paint job and the bomb is a WIP. The "Next Doctor" Cyber Controller needed the head to be removed from the normal Cyber Controller, painted black in the appropriate places and the Head replaced on a normal body. Running short of figures I purchased another 2. So now I have 4 completed figures. I did intend to do a Chair for the Controller but this is impractical due to the lack of articulation in the lower section of the bodies. also it would be far too big for my shelves. |

| So with 4 done. This left the last one which will be the "Torchwood" Cyber woman. I decided (rather hurriedly) that I would use Martha so I prepped the head by cutting off the back of her head and filed down the remainder so the head will fit in the helmet. I should have realised when I took this picture that Martha is only a 10" figure and not a 12" like the Cybermen...So I have put her on hold for now until I can get the correct coloured figure in 12" that will fit her head. For the intricate parts I am using a Latex Silver Balloon. |

| So the base figure has arrived. She's had a hair cut. Started working on the head section first and have completed enough for a test fit. Moved on to the upper arm sections and removed the unwanted parts of panelling. Have test fitted with all the sections done so far...noticed that there are going to be a lot of uncovered gaps on the body, So I may need to cover the body with the balloon and cut out the ovals on the legs and arms. |
