| I went to Hurricane Who in Orlando Sunday and me a couple of Colins! I got my photo opp with Colin Baker. He greeted me and said "You are a fine dressed man!" and I replied that I could not afford to get his coat. He laughed and said "Neither could I". I also got Colin Spaull's autograph. It was great to meet him, an actor who has been in both classic and new Who. I also walked into the main hall, and just happened to stand next to Daphene Ashbrook. She turned to me with a huge smile and said: "Wow, you look spiffy!" And she is just as beautiful as she was. And she just loves being around the fans. Wish I had done a photo opp with her too! |

It rocks. ~ I love that book!! I have worn out two copies! Do you have the revised edition? I have the first one but I'm not sure if I should pick up the second one. If it's just the same information I won't. I'm currently studying the flight deck consoles because I want to write stories about the space shuttle. That book is one of the most amazing books out there! ~ |

There wasn't much difference with the revised edition. I think it may have been post Challenger. Also, The Mars One Crew Manual is amazing as well, Same type of book. |

I'm sure the Mars One Crew Manual is amazing but it's not what I am going for with these stories. I really can't wait to go back to the Museum of Flight and go back to the Space Shuttle exhibit! Of course, I bet the simulator (which is one of the actual ones) is going to be far more advanced than the flight deck that I am studying, so it should be really interesting. At least my stories will be accurate! Thanks for letting me know about the revised edition! Though, I am thinking about getting it just to make sure that I have at least one good copy of the manual as I know I'll be reading it soooooo much! ~ |

| I wish it had been updated in the 90s or even after 2000. The shuttles had a lot of improvements after even the revised edition was written. The flight deck is a lot more advanced, it is a glass cockpit at the end.
I forgot the simulator went up to Seattle. I think you actually get inside it. You should be just as excited to see it as I was Atlantis! |

Yup, you can go up into it and actually work the flight deck for an additional $20. You can do a walk through of the orbiter for free though, or at least, I think that's how it goes. It's not nearly as impressive as I thought it would be seeing that it's missing its wings. :/ Ahhhh a revised edition from after 2000 would have been AWESOME!!! I really can't wait to start flying next spring. Hehehe it's going to be an awesome year! ~ |

| Bumping this before it goes bye bye! Getting settled into the festive spirit slowly here at Just Scott HQ. As we really cannot be that bothered with a tree this year, we decided to go minimal. Will decorate the dining room nearer the time & I'll post a pic then. |

| Well, looks like my account was hacked. 2 charges for $9.84 from two websites:
CWEBCS.COM EETSAC.COM
Both in the UK. Googling shows many others getting hit with these two sites. Call your bank....not them. It seams they ask for all types of info to confirm your account that they need for identity theft. |

| I rarely shop at Target, but I did recently. I guess losing my wallet, getting my card replaced, then finding out that a kind, honest soul found my wallet and eventually got to back to me turned out to be a good thing... |

| Got a call at work today from someone whose first name was Romana.
Did a serious double take on that. Told her I loved the name. She said thanks, but that was it. Guess she might not know of the potential DW reference. |
