Okay, so, I'm working on my first real customization. All I've ever done before are repaints to calm down shiny plastic (I love nuln oil).
So far, I have removed Star Lord's jacket and swapped his hands with the flight glove hands from the Star Wars Black Han Solo. I don't like the color contrast with the burgundy sleeves, so I may end up giving him the flesh hands.
I've confirmed, very happily, that the Stormtrooper belt fits Star Lord.
Next... where I'm starting to hesitate... is the customization of the jacket itself. I want to turn it into a regular leather coat. I need the advice of someone who has skills in this area as to where and how to cut it.
If you have the figure, you'll see that right at the waist is a line that goes around the longcoat. I'm thinking heated Exacto-blade right along that line...
