So, I was in a store in the Seattle area earlier today (while on my way back home to Idaho) and they had some of the 3.75" figures.... one my son spotted was Clara, but the packaging said it was The Doctor. I considered buying it because it's obviously a mispackaging error, but opted not to.

Should I have gotten it?

Only if you were going to open it eventually. Otherwise unless it was a major production mistake on the figure itself, it really is just a curiosity more than a 'collectible'

I think things like that are only worth something if the line is actually good and adult collectors highly favour it, so I wouldn't worry. bounce

Mispackagings seem to be more common than people think, and really, aside from the actual figure inside, they aren't worth more than a chuckle. Collectors who want Mint On Card figures would actually find these less desirable because it's not a fine example of how the figure was supposed to be made.

It's not like misprint currency or postage.
