Sylvester McCoy is appearing at Planet Comicon in Kansas City this weekend! I'm looking forward to meeting him. It will be the first time I've met a Doctor, and 7 is one of my favorites!

Awesome! I got to say hello at LI Who last year, and I met him wayyyyyyyy back in 1987 as well. He's a great guest!

I wasn't able to get to the panel, unfortunately. There was a comics-industry guests who was available only at certain times, so I had an appointment to keep if I wanted to get a certain special book signed.
But I got to converse with the Doctor, albeit briefly, and have my picture taken with him! I got the whole thing on video, too: if you watch my convention video, it gets Who-related at about 1:28.

Ah darn! Well if you (and anyone else) are interested on hearing the panel, check out Traveling The Vortex (I can't post links yet) and they have the audio from the panel (shameless plug for the TTV guys as they are friends of mine ) . Sylvester is so funny! He's coming near me in late May, I'm super excited to meet him myself!
