A pretty decent Dalek story from Terry Nation, and his last contribution to DW. This story introduces the rather elegant looking Movellans, a race of robots at war with the Daleks. Additionally, Lalla Ward takes over from Mary Tamm as Romana in a ridiculous self-imposed series of regenerations to try on different "looks." Thanks, Douglas Adams. This was stupid. It was a sign of things to come this year with him as the new script editor, with more overt humor worked into most of the stories. David Gooderson makes his only appearance as Davros in a rather uninspired, but competent performance.

Despite the shortcomings, this story is still rather enjoyable to watch. I know that sounds rather contradictory, but its somehow good despite its flaws.
