I have gotten caught up on this show, and so far, i enjoy it. I can't wait to see more of the island flashbacks as the show progresses.

I've been enjoying Arrow a great deal.

As much as I liked Justin Hartley in Smallville, I do beleive that Steven Amell is more suited to this version of Green Arrow.

I've been loving it so far; even cooler is that Paul Blackthorne is in it. I'm still not happy with SyFy cancelling The Dresden Files series after one season...(I know it strayed from the books, but it was still a cool show).

Looking forward to seeing Arrow progress and which other DC universe characters show up.

Great show so far!

They are liking it to Nolan's Batman. Kinda see where they're going with that comment?!

I think he shows up in episode 5.
This is surprisingly good.
My biggest complaint is that Steven Amell is a bit bland in the lead. Maybe it's more of a problem with the script sticking him with brooding Batman monologues. Even though Green Arrow was a Batman rip-off to begin with, he's the fun vigillante. I don't want to see him be a grim & gritty dude who just pretends to be a party animal to keep up a ruse. Oliver Queen is a witty rogue both in & out of costume. Merlyn seems to have all the charm in this.
The action scenes were great.
I can't wait for Dinah (why'd they call her by her middle name all the time like JGL in TDKR?)Lance to become Black Canary. As much as I like Paul Blackthorne, I wish Dinah's mom was the detective instead so they could establish Dnah as a legacy heroine.
I don't get why they changed Star City to Starling City.
I wish the villains got more screentime. Since Green Arrow is wearing his green comic book costume despite the colorless title, I don't see why his foes can't dress more comic accurate too. Some color would give them personality & make them easier to see during shadowy fight scenes. Black leather jackets are boring.
I'm surprised at all the sensible fan service they were able to include.
Ollie's decision not to run a branch of his dad's company actually felt like a responsible move rather than another charade. He's got PTSD & no MBA, afterall.
It's strange that the cops call him The Hood instead of Green Arrow.
I recording arrow won't hold up in court.
I'm wondering how long they can sustain this show. Green Arrow's enemies are usually marksmen & martial artists. He doesn't really have a lot of themed big bads that'd be good recurring threats like Batman. He's fun if you pit him against superpowered foes that seem out of his league, but I don't think they'll use any metahumans on the show. They could alternate between costume criminals & white collar criminals from his dad's book, but would it get boring?
Ollie is an ignoramus if he has no concept of Hamlet.
If you take a shot every time a character reminds another of a relative that died tragically, you will die.

John Barrowman's character showed up in last night's episode.

He doesn't seem like a very nice guy...

Can't wait for more!!! Very Happy

Now that was a darn fine episode!
The prosecutor was Kate "Manhunter" Spencer. I'm sad she didn't team up with Ollie to murder some supervillains at the end.

Why didn't Walter Steele ask Moira why she had the yacht secretly moved? I'll miss him.

John Barrowman's character is as ruthlessly cool even though his office is ugly & boring. Who is he playing?

Dig, much like me, is easily impressed by things that light up.

I like that Moira is playing everyone but she's not heartless.

Even if eyewitnesses to an arms deal saw Green Arrow (not leaving any corroborating arrows at the scene) it doesn't mean they have to drop the case against Oliver. He could still be an accessory to Green Arrow(s). Starling City's courts aren't just corrupt, they're incompetent.

We got foreshadowing that Laurel owns fishnets & her mom isn't dead.

The action scenes were better lit more creative this episode.

Ollie's plan to get busted & exonerated was clever. It was a good thing he had a buddy to cover for him by that point, which leads me to believe he was fibbing about it all going according to plan.

Eddie Fryers's "no Sprite for you!" move a good swerve.

Who is Proto-Arrow?

Eddie Fryers, Deadshot, Gren Arrow, & possibly Deadshot have appeared mostly clean shaven. What does this show have against stylish facial hair?

What school takes their eighth graders on a class trip to a maximum security prison?

Deathstroke was the highlight of this episode. He was a scary bastard without saying a word. His really big knife was an acceptable substitute for his usual broadsword. It was awesome that he caught the arrow in mid-air before surviving a fight with Proto-Arrow. I like that they didn't waste any time justifying his mask, which made it more disconcerting. Deathstorke is a massive improvement over Deadshot so far.

Man, what a Who-studded cast they are putting in there. I've heard nothing but good things about the show. Maybe I'll catch up when the box set is out. I feel like I have too much other television I'm trying to keep up with.

Second series has just started here in the UK, I loved series 1 and I am strongly liking the continuation on the "Island" storyline.
