That is freaking outstanding!

That's the one I've been waiting for! I keep hounding Titan about it but haven't gotten any clear word on it, yet. Hope WhoNA gets these in.

I do think the release date is a bit insane. And I hope these haven't creeped up to a $100/each. That's insane.

So, I know this is going to be shocking.... but another item was pushed out! This time, it's the gold Dalek. Pushed back from October to December with the other Dalek.

Hope no one was looking forward to actually getting any Doctors in the anniversary month! Because Titan just pushed tons of stuff out. AGAIN.

ARGH!!!! I really really wish they would comment on this and explain what's going on. Just a quick comment to let us know why they keep pushing these back like this. I love these busts and it sucks to keep watching them get pushed back.

I know what you mean. I think, if the 8th Doctor comes out, it'll be at least a year late.

It's too bad Titan couldn't manage to get the 8th Doctor bust out on time...

I was thinking the same thing today! Missed opportunity! I would have thought they'd be a bit more determined to get stuff out for the 50th Anniversary.

Nope. I don't think a single new bust has come out in 2013. Unless Leela actually makes it this month.

It's with a very heavy heart I must relate to you the update that no fan of these wants to hear. But this comes straight from the (very nice) people at Titan. This info should have filtered to the distributors and retailers, but doesn't seemed to have yet:

The Cyber Scout and Leader are now regular releases, not just variants. All classic Doctors (and Leela) have been cancelled. It's all down to lack of orders. None of these were as strong as the other busts. The constant pushing back of dates was actually giving time for retailers to order more, but the orders didn't come in. After the busts listed above as coming out by June are out, that's pretty much it for the Maxi-busts. They MAY do more Daleks and they might also do Capaldi, but it seems retailer interest just wasn't there for these.

It's very sad news not to have all the Doctors, but at least some of them are still coming and fans of the new series will have a relatively complete set with the 9th coming out. I really wanted that 8th Doctor bust though!

  That is so disappointing! This line had such great potential. Really, really bummed by this.

I only ever wanted the cyberman, but prefer to see something like this in person, as I usually get disappointed when I don't get a nice look first.  The 5th Doctor one does look nice though.

Heartbreaking.  Simply heartbreaking.  


I really wanted a set of Doctors.

This was a beautiful line of excellently detailed busts and it's a pity that it's ending early.

Indeed! That's the exact word I used to describe the situation to Andrew from Titan when he told me! He said that they all loved working on the busts and were sad to see it not work out, too. Apparently the 2nd Doctor had been developed but was never solicited.

The Cyberman is absolutely beautiful in person. Seriously just a thing of beauty.

Are the ones still listed as "upcoming" actually going to be released? Or, are they in the same situation as the canceled ones where they're hoping to get more orders before they decide?

The way they talked, those are definitely coming as the orders were strong for them (at least as strong as the first few busts.)

Same here! If the modern stuff is all that's working for them, maybe they'll do a War Doctor or Capaldi.

Or, is the line just dead after the currently announced stuff comes out?

It's pretty much being shelved. They did say a Capaldi bust was very possible, as well as more Daleks.
