Just saw a preview for next weeks episode of Doc Martin on WTTW11 Chicago and Louise Jameson (everyones favorite sevateem savage) will be appearing!

Set the Tivos for 8 pm next saturday!

I've never seen that show! A guy I know was recently telling me I need to check it out... now I know he's right!

I'm watching it on telly right now, it's got that guy who's the Churchill figure and i think the show's been running for 6 years now. Saw the 1st ep when i was staying in Notting Hill, it was quite funny at the time. But there was a cool 'Columbo' episode just before this came on, i'm just typing this while listening to 'Doc Martin'
LOL.

The actor who plays the character who has throat cancer was Plantagenet in Frontios, and John Woodvine who played The Marsall in Armageddon Factor plays his father as well as the actress who was the woman in white from The End of Time plays his mother. There are also other actors from Who that make appearances. Of course Doc Martin played Lon in Snakedance which was his first tv work.

Watched all the seasons of this show. It's an easy going & light hearted show.

We have went on holiday to the village where it is shot (Port Isaac) We even met The Doc (Martin aka Martin Clunes) himself. Lovely chap.

I have been watching it since they started showing it and really enjoy it a great deal. on a casting note, the actress that played Pauine the receptionist was the journalist in the last episode of Sherlock that was hiding Moriarty.
