Seem to work fine for the USA, but if you enjoy them why not donate https://donate.comicrelief.com/donation/

Both short and fun.

That was wildly entertaining. Gotta love how Moffat likes to play around with Space and Time in his stories.

I also fully understand Rory's reaction. If it was my significant other, I'd be thinking the same thing.

But I do have to say what a joy it is to have the Doctor working with a Male Companion again. Not just working, but having a genuine friendship with them. After Nine and Ten treated their male companions little better then garbage, it's nice to see a Doctor who doesn't feel compelled to hose the deck down in testosterone.

It was slightly 'suggestive' in nature. Guess the days when you could trust 'Doctor Who' to not give kids bad ideas are gone. Pulling guns and looking up womens skirt is the new morality.

Yes, Rory did get some good screen time after being all but missing from the Christmas Special. The idea that he and the Doctor will now be the double act up against Amy is a nice change.

The timing of the credits still seems a little crammed. They squeezed Arthur's name in just before the whirl changes all red instead of retiming all the names over the credits.

I wouldn't say pornographic. Adult humor yes, but still vague enough that kids aren't going to know what they're talking about.

I mean Amy did have a point at the beginning: Her in a skirt, glass floor. What man (Especially a newly wed Husband) is going to pass up on that view? Laughing

We don't know yet, but historical precedent would indicate a positive outcome.

The skits are great. Let's hope the snappy banter carries over into the new season.

lol that was actually good.

Now... I want to ask, how on earth did any of you find that "pornographic"? Seriously, have you not watched a lot of British television, seriously "My Family" has worse stuff than that... that's tame!

I watched it last night, and as a British person, I can honestly say. It gets worse. Like the good Lieutenant said, that's tame. If you want virtually pornographic British TV, watch Secret Diary of a Call Girl....unless you're under 18, in which case, don't. It's too mature for you.

I think the adult themes came out during the banter then anything else. The fact that you've got banter between the Doctor and the Companions is lovely. Seriously, this felt like a peek into the Fourth Doctor's TARDIS with the snappy dialogue and where everyone was treated equally.

Compare that to Rise of the Cybermen where you could cut the sexual tension between Rose and the Doctor with a knife and poor Mickey was left holding a button.

I really loved this! It was a ton of fun and I thought the humor was great. I didn't find it out of place or anything. There was just some flirting and someone looked up someone's skirt. The fact that the two someone's involved in the latter were married seems positively prosaic in some ways! I kind of think this sort of thing is like Are You Being Served? - I watched that as a kid (it was on right before Doctor Who) when I was 8 or 9 and all the double entendre's and things flew right over my head. I just laughed at all the silliness. I think this works in a similar way.

Or just plain not interested in that kind of stuff.

I've seen worse stuff in American shows, but honestly, this wasn't bad at all.

I'm just happy that I'm starting to be OKAY with 11.

yes, didn't really approve of the "adult" humor (then again, this is from the writer who had amy jump the doctor before her wedding, and tried to snog him after it).

this was amusing, but getting really tired of moffat's "wibbley wobbly timey wimey" explanations to time. this is doctor who, not red dwarf, and i could almost see the same plot being pulled off with lister, rimmer and kochanski instead of the doctor, rory, and amy.

That show isn't too bad! It's a lot of fun, in my opinion....not the least bit vulgar. Of course that's just my opinion and you're more than welcome to disagree.... Smile

You have a valid point, sir. This is supposed to be a family show and it is embarrasingly turning fastly into something much more sinister. It confuses me because the crappy monsters are getting more childish yet characters like Amy and Rory are evidently being more aimed at the 'wrong' minded. I guess some may argue that the mixture of both childishness and adulthood makes it a family show, but sexual content should not be forced upon the children whom watch it. We have enough of that already by growing up with the internter of which you cannot escape pornographic advertisements on almost every website there is, not to mention celebrities like these setting a bad example and all the wrong stuff displayed in the media.

Nonetheless, the story itself was great... But I really do miss RTD. Please, Moffat, get the idea and go will you. You can't handle this properly!

I thought it was funny. Sure some of the dialogue would probably get it a TV-14 rating over here, but what was the target audience for Comic Relief in the UK? I'm trying to remember what it was when there was Comic Relief aired here in the Us with Robin, Whoopi & Billy and I think that was mid-teens & up. The banter was funny, it did feel like they were friends there (like Rust & jonwes said). I don't think I'd have a problem letting my niece (Scary's age) watch it.

Its a family show until about 22:00. From then until about 02:00 its for the adults. And Space & Time were both aired before the adult side of the show began.

I mean, yes, I guess it wouldn't be so bad for people my age but it was aired when the little kids were watching it, too. And to be honest, I know 6 year olds that watch Doctor Who... I'd be appauled to know that they were watching a show with such content, even if it was minor, it still gives the absolute wrong message to kids.

Boo on you, Moffat. Way to go to ruin a family TV show. :/

Well, in that case I do see your point. I'm reasonably sure the content in question went over the heads of the younger viewers though. It probably would have been better for them to do 2 stand-alone shorts, 1 for the kiddos, 1 for the gumps. I suppose from a purely Puritanical or Victorian standpoint, at least Amy & Rory are married, yes?
