So, I just placed an order for The Coming of the Terraphiles by Michael Moorcock and was thinking how we have an upcoming episode by Neil Gaiman... other than Douglas Adams, what othe big-name writers have written for Doctor Who?

I think it's only recent that big Sci-fi wrighter started doing Who.......... Unless Mark Gattis counts but mainly it's recent.
