For those who're actually familiar with it, which version is the best and which would be the best introduction?
I'm giving serious consideration to buying the original 6-part BBC serial, but don't know if, maybe, I should get one of the theatrical versions instead.

Well, I've only seen the one that has Jason Flemyng and David Tennant in it and I really liked that version.

Is the original Reginald Tate series not available anywhere? All I can find are Quatermass 2 and Quatermass and the Pit.

By the way, I decided on buying the serial versions from the BBC.
