| The Doctor is a man of many strange obsessions. The Second Doctor was silly about hats. The Third Doctor loved vehicles (probably because his TARDIS was basically useless). The Fifth Doctor was passionate about cricket. The Sixth Doctor loved cats. The Tenth Doctor really liked it when places he'd go had gift shops.
The Eleventh Doctor, it seems, likes to insist weird and/or out-of-date clothing items are cool.
