So, what does everyone think about the possibility of a Who script by Gaiman?

I'd heard the rumor, but not paid it much mind until last night.
I work for USBank doing maintenance on their Visa cards, and last night I spoke to the man himself.
He was very evasive when I asked him casually about the rumor. At first he repeated the statements from the Con with Peter Moffat. But you know how those "neither confirm nor deny" comments are.

It was very cool to speak with him. He's a very humble guy.

I think it would be fantastic. I'm a huge fan of his work.

If we can have celebrity guest stars, why not celebrity guest writers? Gaimen's style would be a perfect fit for Who.

Reminds me of those J.K. Rowling rumors that went around last year.

While we're at it, how about a Terry Pratchett episode?

I love British authors. :-)

Very cool you met him- it would be really cool if he wrote some new who. They tried that many years back with the x-files...bringing in writers like King and such. Would also like to see a little more of cornell in 2010.

I'd love if he wrote some new Who. He's a fan of the series, I know, from his journal. I actually know him better through his books (especially American Gods and Fragile Things) than comics, but I did get the first two Absolute Volumes of Sandman and really liked them.

I think he'd make a great writer for Who.
