| 403: Planet of the Ood
Please keep in mind that that this episode has already aired in the UK. This thread will probably contain LOTS of spoilers. If you don't want to ruin the fun, you may want to come back once the episode airs on SciFi in a few weeks. |

| Don't read if you don't want to spoilers...
Very good anti slavery episode. We finally get to go on another planet- nice snowscapes then the usual factory building (looks like inferno building with snow) Nice to not retread the satan pit but rather they focused on giving a sad and credible backstory to these popular monsters. Odd talks to the doctor- your song may end soon...then the time lord song plays in his head....o.k. I'm starting to believe the timelords will be coming back. Of course you could read into the statement that 10 will be leaving soon but I think he will be around til 2009 xmas. Oh I do like that they tease...sontarans next... happy joy joy. |

| Interesting episode. Not the most fun episode, but very very good. Donna is quickly becoming my favorite companion (which I would have never guessed). I love the buddy relationship; she challenges the Doctor and fills the gaps in his personality better that Rose did (in my opinion). I feel this episode pretty much confirms that the Doctor IS NOT regenerating this season. They're just laying it on too thick. They want us to be on the edge of our seats, expecting a regeneration, then whatever really happens catches us off guard and blows our mind. My theory: - Spoiler:
The Doctor will be taken out of time (his song ends) and find his people. Then he will have to choose whether to rescue them (and something bad will happen) or leave them lost for the greater good. He'll decide to stay with them, but end up coming back anyway.
