I just found out this morning that British born actor (and former body builder) David Prowse passed away yesterday (Saturday, November 28th of 2020) at the age of 85 after battling a short illness.
Although he was well known for playing Darth Vader in the original STAR WARS Trilogy, many Whovians might remember him as the Minotaur from the Doctor Who story entitled THE TIME MONSTER.
That was of course the six part story back in 1972 starring the late Jon Pertwee as the 3rd Doctor along with the late Roger Delgado as the Master, and it was also the final story of the Ninth Season.
I was really fortunate myself to have had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Prowse along with his wife Norma at a Sci-Fi Expo / Convention back in 2003. He will be missed and may his soul Rest In Peace.
