What are the scariest moments in the history of Doctor Who for you?

Mine are probably the Weeping Angles scenes in "Blink" and the scenes in "The Doctor's Wife" where House is playing his cat-and-mouse game with the TARDIS crew.

"Blink" is still very effective and still has me on the edge of my seat every time I watch it.

A combination of the inherit uncannyness of statues, the terrifying "blink-and-move" powers, the eerie score, and the fact that the comforting presence of the Doctor is only in a handful of scenes this time.

The Cybermen, classics though they are, aren't often perceived as "scary" monsters by DW standards, but in the right hands they can be pretty terrifying.

It was never a scary show for me. I like horror.

But the 12th Dr story World Enough & Time with
the Mondasian Cybermen I thought was really
creepy.

Upon some more rewatching, I'm going to have to add two things:

-The first reveal shot of an Auton in "Spearhead from Space". Hello, uncanny valley jump scare! Bet that left an impression on the kiddies.

-The possession scenes in "Midnight". Those eyes...
