I would prefer Season 13 but only because it has my first Who story Planet of Evil, but I am glad they aren't slowing the pace.

Very cool that you remember your first Doctor who story! Mine was Ark in Space... Can't wait to own this set, has some great stories. To bad the U.S. versions don't come with the lil booklets. It would be cool if the BBC offered Doctor booklet collections where you pay for the entire era and have the set of booklets sent to you:)

It does have some great stories. I absolutely LOVED Judith Paris as Eldrad. And yes, I wished for an action figure of her from Character Options when the classic line was first announced.

I agree with Ted47, that trailer was hilarious...by far my favorite trailer for these Blu releases. Once we have this on shelf we only need 4 more seasons to complete Tom's run. Maybe we will luck out and some time down the road Big Finish will animate all of Tom's adventures:) then we would have a total of 19-20 seasons of Tom Baker! I need that in my life lol.

We will be taking pre-orders very soon.
We were keeping an eye on this title as the delays on product have been unpredictable on both sides of the pond due to duplication backlogs.

Pre-order is officially up.
We apologize for the delay, but we feared listing due to delays at duplication houses causing problems industry-wide.
We have now confirmed the sets are ON TIME.

Here's a quick question, since this set contains "The Deadly Assassin..."
In "The Deadly Assassin," the Master uses Chancellor Goth, a Timelord who desires power, to aid him in achieving his goals...
Do you consider Chancellor Goth to be the SAME Timelord as the one who appeared at the end of "The War Games," since he is portrayed by the same actor (and was nameless in that story)?
Personally, I always have, as it makes for a lovely piece of continuity and it seems apt that the same Timelord who would banish the Doctor to Earth would use him for his own ends...

I do, as the Doctor is always meddling, and I am sure Goth was a member of the CIA plus both stories were directed by David Maloney who liked to cast a sort of rep company of people he had worked with before for certain roles.
There was also commentary about how Robert Holmes looked a bit like Goth. The actor next to him played the Doctor in the stage play Seven Keys to Doomsday. Shame there was never a recording of that on film or more pictures from it.
