| does anyone remember if this was filmed on film or on video?
Wondering if there's a chance for Blu-Ray.
I noticed that the 1996 Dr Who movie is being released on Blu-Ray shortly. |

I noticed that the 1996 Dr Who movie is being released on Blu-Ray shortly. I believe the series was shot on film for the location work and the visual effects, and video for the studio, as was the norm for BBC shows of the period. I really can't see a Blu-ray release forthcoming from the BBC. They can't even release the series on DVD in the US. |

Did any of the Blake's 7 DVDs get the same remastering that the Who DVDs got? |

Did any of the Blake's 7 DVDs get the same remastering that the Who DVDs got? They were, but not to the same extent as the Who DVDs. From a packaging point of view, the Australian ones looks to be the best so far. Leaps and bounds ahead of the UK digipaks which I have always hated. The series was also available in The Netherlands, but I'm not sure what these are like, although some of the fans seem to favour this release. |
