| Here's an almost finished console room - the console made by Johny Irish, though I had to put it together and paint up the details etc. The backdrop is made from scratch by myself, and then the lighting and accessories either made by myself - including the in scale jelly babies and scrolls. The book shelves are made from styrene glued onto MDF to get the shelves, then books made from strips of balsa, painted with oil based paint (otherwise they swell with water) then painted afterwards with acrylics, or in some cases made from mountboard.
